Identity for a long-established regional shoemaker that creates products with unpretentious elegance.
Right from it's beginning in 1903 and especially in the period after the 1940s, Peko became an established footwear brand in the Western Balkans as well as in other parts of Eastern and Western Europe. The company became a synonym for well-made classical products that last longer compared to similar products on the market.
Having in mind the historical context and the rich brand heritage it made sense to continue the development of the new identity within an established visual language; for instance, the logo was completely redrawn but it kept its original script lettering reference. Besides the new identity the work on the project included some work related to brand strategy, such as brand positioning, brandbook manual etc.
